Transparency is important to me and to the way I run DC Scalp Micro.

Client privacy will always be respected. Some clients are happy for their before and after photos to be shared, while others prefer to keep their treatment completely private. Both options are absolutely fine.

However, before and after results are a huge part of how I showcase my work and how new clients find me.

Because of this, I’ll now be offering two pricing options going forward:

• Standard price for clients who prefer to keep their results private
• Discounted price for clients who are happy for their before and after photos to be used on my social media and website

This simply allows me to continue building my portfolio while still respecting every client’s personal preference.

First session before and after 📈

For this first session we created a soft, safe base layer using a lighter pigment. The goal at this stage is to gently build the foundation without putting too much pressure into the skin, so everything heals clean and evenly. Even after just one session you can already see the shape starting to form, with the new hairline beginning to reframe the face. Over the next sessions we’ll gradually build up the density to achieve a natural, undetectable result.

A question I get asked a lot is why SMP is done in sessions.

SMP is completed over multiple sessions because the treatment is built up in layers. If everything was done in one sitting, the impressions could be too dark, too deep, and may spread or look unnatural over time. Overworking the skin in one session can also cause the pigment to migrate, which is why it’s important to separate the treatment into stages. This approach gives full control over the density, tone, and overall finish.

Another common question is why each session is 14 days apart.

The 14-day gap allows the scalp to fully heal between sessions. This healing time lets the pigment settle into the skin, shows how the colour has softened, and allows any areas that need more density or adjustment to be refined in the next session. It also gives the client enough time to keep the scalp moisturised and properly prepared for the next session, helping achieve the best possible results. This step-by-step approach is what creates the most natural and long-lasting finish.

Here’s my client’s before and after transformation 📈
We decided to leave his natural scars and enhance them with SMP to make everything appear more natural.

My client had been thinking about SMP for a while and got in touch after seeing some of my previous transformations. He was already used to having a shaved head and didn’t want to go down the transplant route.
