When travelling down the road of life, you get to meet different people and ways of life along the way. We've been lucky enough to find interesting ways of life, amazing therapies and gifted practitioners along our way. With the busy, often complicated lives that we lead we know it's not always possible to have a wee break from the norm. We know how meditating for half an hour, going to an hours holistic therapeutic session or spending your weekend on a yoga retreat can put you back up on top of the world. And so, The Wee Retreat aims to bring the therapies, ways of life and practitioners we have found along the way to you... so you experience the serenity and calm from your own wee retreat.

Anxiety and the Body: Bioenergetics Course

In this 10 week course we will explore the relationship between the body and anxiety, incorporating stretches, primal movements and breathwork. Jack helps build understanding anxiety and how we can move past it, using non-technical language, covering themes such as grounding, vulnerability, resistance and boundaries.

Although anxiety is complex, it can help to use a simple model where unprocessed emotional energy in the body is clamped down by the overthinking mind. Bioenergetic exercises aim to release tension and allow this energy to be processed - a bit like slowly releasing the bubbles in a fizzy drink! You’ll also receive short daily workouts to do at home.

Alongside the making process, Shuna offers oracle and rune stone readings to deepen reflection and clarity. Expect gentle guidance, all materials provided, and a supportive atmosphere.

🔥 Reignite: From Burnout to Balance Day Retreat

Burnout can arise in many forms – from work, studying, parenting, caregiving, emotional overload, and the ongoing pressure to keep going when life feels overwhelming. This retreat offers a gentle and restorative space to pause, reconnect with your needs, and begin replenishing your emotional and physical energy.

What to Expect

During the day, we will explore what burnout is, why it develops, and how we can respond to ourselves with more compassion rather than self-pressure or guilt. You will experience a blend of reflective psychological work, practical tools for nervous system regulation, and guided mindfulness and gentle mindful movement practices to support reconnection and grounding.

This retreat is suitable for anyone feeling emotionally drained, overwhelmed, worn down, or simply needing time and space to reset and come home to themselves.

Lunch, tea/coffee and light refreshments are included. You will also receive a tote bag with a ‘Burnout to Balance workbook’ and pen.
