John MacDougall

John, a former teacher at Braidfield High, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 18th March. He was married to Georgina for 44 years and is survived by his two daughters, Johann and Karen.

Funeral service to be held at Clydebank Crematorium on Wednesday, 8th April at 10:30am.

Thomas "Tom" Boyd

Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on Saturday 21st March aged 60 years.
He will be forever missed and loved by all of his family and by all that ever knew Tom.

The Funeral service will be held on
Wednesday 1st April, 09:30am at Clydebank Crematorium.
There will be a chance to make a charitable donation to Rainbow Valley after the service.

Over the Mother’s Day weekend, daffodils were delivered to local care homes and churches by funeral directors and funeral service operatives. 🌼

It was a small gesture to brighten rooms and bring a little comfort and warmth on a day that can mean so much to so many people. The smiles, kind words, and appreciation received made it incredibly special.

Over the Mother’s Day weekend, our team delivered bunches of bright daffodils to local care homes so that every resident could enjoy a small gesture of appreciation and warmth. 🌼

For many, Mother’s Day can bring a mix of emotions. We wanted to share a simple act of kindness to remind the wonderful women in our community that they are thought of, valued, and remembered at this special time.

It was a privilege to spend time with the residents, share smiles, and brighten a few rooms with the colours of spring. 💛

It is with great sadness and love that we share the news of the sudden death of Peter MacNab. Peter was at home with his loving wife, Joy. He will be greatly missed by Joy and his children; Peter, Elizabeth and Fiona. He was a caring and thoughtful father-in-law to Moira, Terry and Alex who will each mourn his passing. A loving Papa to Jennifer and Cameron, Colin and Nathan and Matthew and Bronwen and his great grandson, Blake. Papa Peter leaves to you all his love and gentleness.

A brother to Margaret,Betty and Archie (deceased) and a brother-in-law to Betty, Billy and Robert. An uncle and friend to many who were each touched by his meaningful life.

All family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at Woodhill Evangelical Church, then onto Cadder Cemetry. Please join us as a family at Bishopbriggs Golf Club for refreshments after the service.

Rest in peace, You will be greatly missed by us all.

The Late Allister Clarke

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Allister Clarke, who passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on 1st March 2026, aged 86.
