Just for everyones information, I am not looking for advice or sympathy, everything is under control.
A few months back I thought I had COPD as I was having real difficulties breathing and was having sort of asthma attacks. I saw my GP and was prescribed inhalers which helped a little but not great. Eventually I got a full blood screen which showed I was in heart failure and didnt have COPD. My constant difficulty breathing was due to fluid building up in my lungs due to heart failure. I was started on new meds to combat symptoms which made a difference. I then started to see Cardiologist and discovered that I had actually had a silent heart attack which has caused damage to my heart muscle. I have just moved back to Denny area and have joined Denny Cross Medical Centre who have been very good so far and hopefully there will not be too long a wait to catch up with cardiology service in Forth Valley.
I know, it's all a bit of a shock but I am ok and feeling positive about my recovery. I'm not afraid of death, but I'm also not a quitter. Onwards and upwards. 🙏🙏🙏
