We are saddened by the sudden unexpected closure of Dr Taylor’s clinic at Jura clinic - and in the last few days have been fielding hundreds of daily phone calls from ME/MCAS/POTS/CFS patients looking for someone to continue their clinical care. We have no more information than what is on the internet.

We would like to apologise to all our private patients for the extended times getting through to us on 01414046545 due to this unprecedented event and increase in call load.

If you were a patient of Jura clinic and need to transfer to us to urgently to make sure your clinical care is continued within the next 28 days - we have an emergency clinic set up only for you, run by the usual experienced clinicians working additional days to help meet the current crisis.

The password for Jura patients ONLY is “jura” lowercase.

This is ONLY for patients who need to transfer their clinical care urgently. New patients cannot be onboarded via this process. Thank you for your understanding. We are doing our very best to help everyone as fast as possible. So PLEASE bear with us if trying to get through on the head office private dept on the phone. You can call the central head office 08000276910 number if it’s utterly urgent and we will do our best to help you as quickly as possible.

To be absolutely and completely clear this is ONLY FOR PATIENTS AFFECTED BY THE UNEXPECTED CLOSURE OF Dr Taylor’s Jura Clinic.

Many of you have reached out to us at Westbourne House with questions about access to the meningitis vaccine, and we fully understand your concerns.

At present, the Scottish Government has allocated all available supplies to the NHS, which means we are not able to offer the vaccine privately at this time. We appreciate this may be frustrating, especially for those looking for reassurance.

To support our patients, we have arranged a limited supply of post-exposure prophylactic antibiotic kits. These are available at the clinic for those who may need them.

This treatment is suitable for anyone, of any age, who has been in close contact with someone diagnosed with meningitis. If this applies to you, we can arrange a short video consultation and provide treatment without delay.
