Appointments available for eye tests tomorrow if anyone is struggling with there vision then please get in touch remember your sight test is FREE and if you are on qualifying benefits then we have a very good range of FREE glasses for you and also all Children under 16 or over 16 up to the age of 18 in full time education get their glasses FREE. Should my child have their eyes examined?

If your child does not have good vision, children generally do not talk about their vision problems therefore we will not always be aware. They simply accept that their world is fuzzy or that they need to squint a lot. It is their reality and they don’t realize that other people have much clearer vision.

Therefore children should have their eyes examined regularly even if they do not need visual correction. n eye exam gives your optometrist a base line if there are any changes in the future or can provide vision correction if required

Why does my eye twitch?

Eye twitches are quite common and tend to come and go. There are several things that can trigger eye twitches:

• Stress

• Tiredness

• Caffeine

• Dry eyes

• Alcohol

• Eyestrain

• Allergies

• Medication

There isn't usually any treatment for a twitch. Sometimes twitches can last for weeks or even months. If you hare concerned about your eyes you can telephone your local optometrist and they can triage you and advise when you would require to book book an appointment.
