This week we welcomed a very special arrival to our grounds — an Only Fools and Horses themed hearse. 💛

A wonderful and heartfelt tribute that brought a smile to many faces while honouring a life well lived. Personal touches like these remind us how meaningful it is to celebrate someone’s character, humour, and the memories they leave behind.

Thank you to the family for allowing us to be part of such a unique farewell, conducted by Co-op Funeralcare.

On Sunday 15th March we will be hosting a Mother's Day service led by celebrant, David Somerville Independent Celebrant.

The Service will be 11-11:30am and our chapel will remain open until 12:30pm to allow for a moment of reflection.

We will be providing cards should anyone wish to post one in our Letters to Heaven post box.
You will also be able to collect flowers to place on a loved one’s memorial or to take home, kindly donated to us by Oops a daisy bishopbriggs florist.

An intimate send off this morning for a dearly loved lady who was full of spirit 🩷

Including a beautifully written poem by her Niece, we spoke about her love of speaking her mind, taking pride in her appearance, how much she would enjoy one or two Gordon's Gin and soda water, and how a fruit loaf always played a staple part in family get togethers 🍞

Great to see and work again with the team at Bishopbriggs Crematorium 🥰

Today is Lisa’s last day at Bishopbriggs as she starts a new career.
Lisa has been at Bishopbriggs from the start and is a friendly and familiar face to a lot of families, funeral directors and anyone who visits the site.

We want to thank Lisa for all she has done at Bishopbriggs and she will be very missed by everyone here. Good luck Lisa! ❤️

Today we handed over a £500 donation to Men's Shed Kirkintilloch on behalf of ourselves and Jamie Pearson Funeral Director as part of our metals recycling scheme.

We also had a lovely delivery of benches made uniquely for our site.
We are so grateful to Men's Shed Kirkintilloch for making these beautiful benches which are now pride of place in front of our chapel.
The charity provides over 100 men with space to create, build and connect with other people in the community.

Myself and the team here at Bishopbriggs are proud to donate to this amazing charity.
