🌟 A Look Back at Our Fabulous Blackpool Trip! 🌟

Earlier this year, we had the absolute pleasure of taking Debbie and Martin on a fun-filled trip to Blackpool — and what a time was had! From posing for the “Blackpool’s Most Wanted” mugshots to exploring the beautiful outdoor spaces, there was no shortage of laughs, memories, and moments to treasure. 💛

A huge thank-you to Scott and Julie for supporting them throughout the trip and helping make it such a special experience. Your kindness and care mean the world to us and to them. 🙌

🎃 Spooky season at Community Care Choice! 👻

We had great fun at our Halloween party — the costumes were next level!

Support worker Scott went full-on Squid Game (no games were actually played, thankfully 😅) and Service User Martin stole the show as a blues singer, complete with moves that would have made Elvis jealous! 🎤🕺

Let’s just say the competition for “best costume” ended in more laughs than screams… though Scott’s mask nearly gave us both. 💀😂

⚽️🚍 A grand day out in Glasgow!

We had a fabulous day out with Service User Alan on the Rangers FC stadium tour where he gave us a full tactical breakdown worthy of Match of the Day 👏 Then it was off to The Riverside
Museum where we discovered the old buses might not have seatbelts… but they definitely had style! 🚌✨

At Community Care Choice, we love getting out and about making memories, having a laugh and enjoying everything Glasgow has to offer ❤️

A little reintroduction…I am Joeanne Hamilton, Managing Director of Community Care Choice.

Some of you may already know me, but for those who don’t, I thought it was time to share a little about who I am and why I do what I do.

I’ve worked in care most of my life, and even now, leading the company doesn’t mean I’ve stepped back from the frontline. Quite the opposite. I’m often out covering shifts, supporting clients, and working alongside our carers.

Staying close to the people we support and to the staff who make it possible is what keeps me grounded and helps me understand where we can keep improving.

Community Care Choice started back in 2002 as a small domestic service, but it has grown into something bigger. We are now a team of over 130 dedicated people delivering personal care, respite, and specialist support across Glasgow.

What makes me proudest isn’t just the growth, but the way our values of dignity, respect, and compassion have stayed at the heart of everything we do.

For me, care has never been just a business. It’s personal, and it always will be.
