Behind every assessment is a child who deserves clarity, support, and understanding.

Our comprehensive ADHD assessment (£895) looks at the full picture. Developmental history, school feedback, clinical interview, and evidence based screening tools. We take the time to understand strengths as well as challenges, because no child is just a checklist.

We also know that long waiting lists can feel devastating for a child’s confidence, learning, and emotional wellbeing. Early understanding matters. Timely support changes trajectories.

Our goal is simple. Clear answers. Thoughtful recommendations. Practical next steps.

Because the right support at the right time can make all the difference. If you are ready to make the next step, you know where to find us.

For many people with ADHD, movement is not about chasing aesthetics or hitting personal bests. It is about clearing mental fog. It is about softening the internal noise. It is about giving restless energy somewhere constructive to land.

Sometimes that looks like a structured gym session.
Sometimes it is a fast walk with headphones on.
Sometimes it is five minutes of stretching just to reset your nervous system.

If traditional fitness advice has never quite fit, that does not mean you are failing. It may just mean your brain needs movement for regulation, not perfection.

Small. Flexible. Sustainable.

International Women’s Day

Today we celebrate the strength, insight, and resilience of women and girls everywhere.

But we also pause to acknowledge something that still needs to change.

Too many young girls struggle in silence with ADHD.

They are described as “chatty,” “emotional,” “daydreamers,” “dramatic,” or “disorganised.”
They work twice as hard to mask their difficulties.
They internalise their struggles.
They are overlooked because they do not fit the outdated stereotype of what ADHD is supposed to look like.

As a result, girls are often:
• Referred later
• Diagnosed later
• Misdiagnosed with anxiety or mood difficulties
• Or told they are simply “not trying hard enough”

The cost of delayed recognition can be significant: self-esteem challenges, burnout, academic difficulties, and mental health strain.

On International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to advocating for equitable access to assessment and support. ADHD does not discriminate by gender. Recognition and care should not either.

When we understand girls properly, we empower women for life. 💜

Easter Prescription & Delivery Update

With the Easter bank holiday approaching, there will be some temporary changes to medication ordering and delivery schedules.

To help avoid any disruption to your treatment, we encourage patients to plan ahead and request prescriptions early.

Key dates to note:
• 31 March – Last day to place orders for delivery by 2 April
• 1 April – Orders processed for one delivery attempt on 2 April
• 3 April (Good Friday) – Closed – no deliveries
• 6 April (Easter Monday) – Closed – no deliveries
• 7–10 April – Orders processed for delivery between 8–11 April

If you rely on regular medication, ordering a little earlier than usual can help ensure everything runs smoothly over the bank holiday period.

If you have any questions about your prescription, our team will be happy to help.

💬 “An incredible team of professionals… Definitely changed my life for the better.”

We’re so grateful for feedback like this.

Many adults come to us after years of waiting, wondering, masking, and trying to “fix” themselves.

There’s still a common belief that ADHD is something you grow out of, or that by adulthood you should simply have found a way to manage it. Medically, that isn’t the case. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition. It does not disappear with age. What often changes is the level of support.

For some adults, receiving a diagnosis brings clarity for the first time. It can mean:
✨ Understanding lifelong patterns
✨ Accessing appropriate medication
✨ Reducing self-blame
✨ Making informed decisions about work, relationships, and wellbeing

Choosing a private assessment is a personal decision. For some, it offers a faster route to answers and treatment when waiting lists feel overwhelming.

If a private assessment feels right for you, you can book now or contact us for further information. We’re here to help you make an informed choice. 💙

Studying with ADHD isn’t about not caring.
It’s about caring deeply… while your brain negotiates with 47 other thoughts.

Under our Lived Experience feature, our Guest writer reflects on what studying with ADHD really felt like at university, and the practical strategies that made it more manageable. From changing environment to “bricking” a phone, this is an honest account of trial, error, and finding what works.

No perfection. No productivity myths.
Just real experience.

If you support someone with ADHD, or live with it yourself, this is worth a read.

Sometimes the smallest shifts make the biggest difference.

Regulate first, reason later
When a child is overwhelmed, their nervous system is leading. Lower the volume before raising expectations. Calm connection first. Conversations after.

Separate behaviour from identity
“I can see this feels really hard right now” lands very differently than “Why are you doing this?” Protect their self-esteem while supporting their behaviour.

Protect sleep like it’s gold
Sleep disruption amplifies anxiety, low mood, and emotional reactivity. A predictable wind-down routine can be a game changer.

Fuel the brain
Neurodivergent children may forget to eat or struggle with appetite cues. Regular meals, protein, and hydration support mood, focus, and resilience.

Normalise differences
Different doesn’t mean broken. Help them understand their brain works uniquely, and that uniqueness carries strengths.

Mental health support isn’t about fixing a child. It’s about understanding their wiring and adjusting the environment around them.

And if you feel you need further support, guidance, or reassurance, our doors are always open. You don’t have to navigate this alone 💙

Understanding your child starts with listening carefully and assessing thoroughly.

Our personalised autism assessment (£1665) pathway is delivered by an experienced neurodevelopmental team and includes:

- Pre-assessment developmental history forms
- A comprehensive diagnostic appointment using evidence-based tools
- Interviews to fully understand strengths and challenges
- A dedicated feedback appointment to explain outcomes clearly and compassionately

An autism assessment can be transformative for a child. Early and accurate identification helps:

- Make sense of differences in communication and behaviour
- Guide the right support at school and home
- Reduce self-doubt and misunderstanding
- Empower families with clarity and direction

Diagnosis is not about labels. It is about understanding, access to support, and helping a child reach their full potential.

Language matters: it shapes how we see people and how they experience the world around them.

When we talk about autism, choosing respectful, accurate terms helps create a fairer and more inclusive society.

Here are some simple swaps that make a big difference.

Small changes in language, big steps toward dignity, respect, and understanding.
Let’s speak about autism in a way that supports, not stereotypes. 💛
