Meet Penny, our new Pilates instructor Monday’s 12:30.
Originally from Greece, .vlachou has always enjoyed movement through walking, dancing and swimming in the sea. Since moving to Glasgow, she discovered new passions in Zumba, salsa dancing and nature walks in the Highlands.
A dietitian as well as a Pilates teacher, Penny believes in nourishing both body and mind through balanced eating and joyful, mindful movement.
Her journey with Pilates began seven years ago after persistent hip pain, an experience that completely transformed her approach to exercise. Through consistent practice, she healed her injury and discovered the power of mindful, functional movement — a discovery that inspired her to train as a Pilates instructor.
Today, she shares her Pilates passion through helping others move with confidence, control, and ease. Her teaching focuses on building deep core strength, enhancing body awareness, and finding joy in every movement — both on and off the mat.
