🧩 M A S K I N G 🧩
The brief: make it better and a little bit more symmetrical.
The plan: whitening in chair and at home combined with .uk and , two central veneers planned to improve colour, shape and symmetry, with the aim of keeping the result natural and in harmony with the rest of the smile.
This case involved careful consideration of colour selection, balancing hue, value and chroma so the centrals sat comfortably alongside the adjacent teeth rather than looking flat or over-bright. Symmetry and mirroring were key, particularly with a high smile line, where small discrepancies become far more noticeable. Line angles, proportions and soft tissue levels were all planned around this, alongside the patients wishes for shape and shade of the final result.
I love sharing these vases openly — including preps — because there should be no stigma around learning. These cases teach you so much and photos speak volumes for reflection! I genuinely learnt midway through this case how to properly use my camera settings, and that alone changed how I documented and evaluated the work. Every case sharpens your eye a little more.
Happy patient = happier dentist!
I absolutely love cases like these! They have such a powerful impact and can genuinely change how someone feels about themselves.
If you’re thinking about improving your smile in 2026, I’m now booking consultation appointments into March.
