🤠🎶 Line Dancing Fun at Kelvinside Manor! 🎶🤠

Our residents enjoyed a wonderfully energetic afternoon with the lovely Maggies Line Dancers, and what a brilliant time it was! There was plenty of laughter, smiles and toe‑tapping fun as everyone soaked up the music and atmosphere 💃🕺✨

The session brought so much joy and entertainment, creating a fantastic buzz throughout the room and leaving everyone looking forward to the next visit 🥰🌟

Our residents enjoyed a wee session of armchair yoga, perfect for the mind, body and soul! ✨

With gentle stretches, calming movements and plenty of smiles, it was a lovely way to bring relaxation and positivity into the day.

🎉🎂 Celebrating Christine’s 91st Birthday at Kelvinside Manor! 🎂🎉

We were delighted to celebrate Christine’s 91st birthday this week - a truly special milestone for a very special lady 💕

Christine marked the occasion surrounded by her wonderful family, fellow residents and our fantastic colleagues, making it a joyful and memorable celebration 🎈✨

Her favourite André Rieu music played in the background, much to her delight, alongside music from the Glasgow Gaelic Choir - and a little birdie told us Christine was once a member herself 🎶💛

Still singing like an angel and bringing joy to everyone here at Kelvinside Manor - happy 91st birthday, Christine! 🌟🎂

Huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Hopkinson as they celebrated their wonderful Emerald Wedding Anniversary 💚✨

The couple enjoyed a lovely meal together with a few glasses of wine, spending time reminiscing about years gone by and looking back on cherished photographs that sparked so many special memories 🥰📸

What an incredible achievement and a beautiful celebration of love, companionship and shared history 💛🌟

📻💛 What a day to remember at Kelvinside Manor! 💛📻

Our residents had the most fantastic day visiting Clyde 1 Radio, where they proudly delivered a donation in support of Cash for Kids - and they loved every minute of it.

From exploring the studios and having a go on the microphones, to hearing Kelvinside Manor mentioned live on George Bowie’s Breakfast Show, the excitement was unforgettable. The smiles, laughter and sense of pride said it all. 🌟🎤

It was a real privilege for our residents to be part of such an incredible cause and to experience something so special together. Moments like these remind us how important community, connection and shared experiences are.

We had another lovely visit from our pet therapy dog, who is such a treasure! 🐾💛

She absolutely loves receiving treats and cuddles from our residents, and these moments always bring so much joy, laughter and comfort to our home🏡💙

Our residents recently took a thoughtful step back in time as they reminisced about World War I. They spent time discussing the history, stories and experiences connected to this significant period, creating meaningful conversations and moments of reflection.

Everyone also had the chance to see authentic uniforms and equipment, which really brought the past to life. These items sparked emotions, memories and heartfelt discussions about days gone by 🎖️🕰️

Our residents absolutely loved their wee visit from Zola, our adorable pet therapy dog! 🐕🐶

There were cuddles, smiles, gentle pats and of course plenty of wee treats - Zola certainly made lots of new friends 🥰✨

These heart‑warming visits always bring such comfort, joy and companionship to our residents 💛🌟
