🎄✨ A Wonderful Christmas Lunch at Kelvinside Manor ✨🎄

Our lovely residents at Kelvinside Manor came together in the café to enjoy a wonderful Christmas lunch and festive get‑together ❤️🎁

They were treated to an amazing meal lovingly prepared by our fantastic chef Scott and the dedicated kitchen team, with the support of all our wonderful colleagues. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was full of cheer, and the smiles said it all ✨😊

Residents shared plenty of laughs over Christmas cracker jokes, enjoyed a little tipple of wine, and were delighted with a thoughtful Christmas gift to round off the afternoon.

The room was filled with laughter, warmth and joy - moments that truly brighten all of our hearts 🎄

There’s nothing quite like starting the day with a refreshing morning walk in the fresh air, followed by a well-earned treat! 💛

Our residents enjoyed a lovely stroll to the shops before sitting down to a delicious pancake breakfast at the local Wetherspoons 😋🥞

Smiles, good conversation and tasty food made it a wonderful way to enjoy the morning and make the most of getting out and about in the community 🌟💬

This December, colleagues, residents, families and friends from across all 27 Meallmore care homes came together to do something truly special.

Through our Meallmore Reindeer Run, we collectively:
✔ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝟰,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀
✔ 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 £𝟮,𝟮𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 Cash for Kids – 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀
✔ 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 to support children and families across our local communities

From walking, wheeling, cycling and adapting activities, to festive costumes, creativity and teamwork, this was a challenge that everyone could be part of — and that’s what made it so powerful.

More than a fundraiser, the Reindeer Run was about:
💚 Inclusion and connection
💚 Bringing people together
💚 Supporting families beyond our homes
💚 Showing what’s possible when communities work as one

A huge thank you to every resident, colleague, family member and supporter who took part, donated, cheered us on or helped make this happen. This is what makes Meallmore such a special community - and why we’re so proud of the people who live and work in our homes.

Meallmore’s Reindeer Run saw 27 care homes travel 4,800 miles, raising £2,260 and donating over 250 gifts for Cash for Kids.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas Fete in support of Cash for Kids ❤️

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community, we are delighted to share that we raised over £300! 🎉👏

It was a truly lovely day filled with festive cheer, smiles, and togetherness. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and helped make such a positive difference. 🌟

🎄✨ A Special Visit at Kelvinside Manor! ✨🎄

We were delighted to welcome the lovely nursery children from Treasure Trove Nursery to Kelvinside Manor for a truly heart-warming visit. ❤️

The children and our residents enjoyed getting creative together with Christmas arts and crafts, sharing smiles, laughter, and plenty of festive cheer. 🎨

To make the day even more magical, we were treated to a special appearance from Mrs Claus - keep an eye out for those wonderful photos! 🎅💫

We’ve had lots of wonderful visitors over the past few days, spreading Christmas cheer throughout our home! From joyful moments to festive surprises, it’s been a magical time for residents and colleagues alike.

And guess who popped in to check on our grotto? Mrs Claus herself! What a treat!

✨🎄 A Magical Day at Kelvinside Manor! 🎄✨

Our Reindeer Run was filled with giggles, festive fun, and plenty of Christmas cheer! 🦌💃

Even though Rudolf was busy saving the North Pole, we didn’t miss out on the excitement — Mr Gingerbread Man and Mr Elf dashed in and stole the show! 🍪

Some of our residents even walked around the home with our lovely festive friends, getting their steps in as they “trained for the trip to the North Pole!” ❄️🎅

The laughter, joy, and festive spirit lit up the Manor and made this day truly magical. ❤️ Bring on next year’s surprise! 🎁✨
