Autism Assessment from Aberdeen
At 34 years old I received a positive diagnosis of autism following an assessment with Anne- Marie. I researched a few organisations before deciding on Connect to Autism. The assessment costs were reasonable and I received a reply from the helpful team the next day, answering my questions and offering an initial screening appointment less than a week later. I was sent the patient questionnaire to complete and only had to pay £300 at this point. I had an initial phone call assessment with Anne-Marie, and I was very anxious at the beginning but Anne-Marie instantly put me at ease, she was friendly and explained the reasoning behind her initial decision based on my report. I received an excellent service from Connect to Autism. My assessment was complete in less than a month from my initial enquiry. I was satisfied with Anne-Marie’s professionalism, and specific knowledge around high masking, late diagnosed females. I felt validated and was happy to make an appointment for the assessment which was the following week. The assessment was on Zoom and lasted just under 2 hours. The pace was relaxed and everything was explained to me thoroughly. I received my report 2 days later accompanied with a statement that just states the positive diagnosis along with who Anne-Marie and Connect to Autism are. I was very satisfied with the service and would recommend to anyone seeking a private autism diagnosis.
