Celtic could be allocated the full Broomloan stand for the Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox in March.

Rules state that away teams should be allocated 10% of the stadium capacity, subject to approval by security / Police Scotland.

The Broomloan Stand holding 7,500 could be the compromise.

In 2018 Rangers cut Celtic’s ticket allowance from 7,500 to 800 which started the fall out and killing of the atmosphere when then resulted in zero away fans. Latterly it’s been increased to 2,500 however.

Yes there will be some unhappy season ticket holders, but do you think allowing them the full Broomloan like years previous, and how it’s likely to be in the Scottish Cup tie, would improve the atmosphere?

For a Scottish Cup quarter-final, the competition rules allow the away club to claim up to 20% of the home stadium’s capacity.

This would mean Celtic would get the same sort of allocation we have given to sides like Dortmund in the past.
