How Do I Become More Consistent?
Well, the simple answer is just simply showing up 🤷🏻♂️
However, there’s more to it than that 💭
Most people struggle to make real progress due to this, they’re always start, stop, start, stop
And breaking that cycle can be hard 😤
But we need to make sure we have the following things in order first, so that we can thrive:
Having a programme - having something to get you to your goals matters. We need to make sure that we have a programme that’s going to get us to our goals, a lot of people go into the gym and just go from machine to machine and its really like going round in a revolving door 🏋🏻♂️
If you have a programme from your coach, follow it, it will work! Don’t think that you’re better than it, just show up and continue to work away at it 👏🏻
Purpose -becoming more consistent in the gym comes from having a purpose. The same reason why we all show up to our work, our purpose is to get paid
The same way we need to have a purpose to show up to the gym, therefore, setting realistic goals that you really want to hit matter but where most people fall short is they achieve these goals and don’t really set new ones and then old habits start to creep back in & they’re back to square one 🚀
Enjoyment - honestly, this is the most important one of them all. If you hate doing it then dare, I say much more 🙌🏻
You need to create something that you really love and enjoy because if you don’t, you’re just bouncing from pillar to post and when the going gets tough, you’ll soon chuck it because its boring as f**k
Now don’t confuse having no purpose or programme with being bored
Most people say they don’t enjoy it because they don’t have any purpose within the gym 🤔
You see how all three compliment each other
