Julie Kinsella Accredited KCR Practitioner and Certified KCR Instructor

Julie Kinsella Accredited KCR Practitioner and Certified KCR Instructor Realign and Revive is a company providing KCR within Easterhouse, Glasgow. This page is a sister page to Realign and Revive.

RnR is a provider of complementary therapies within the North Lanarkshire area of Scotland. KCR can be provided with other therapies but is a wonderful therapy on its own. This page is here to discuss and share stories about Kinetic Chain Release (KCR). This is a stand alone therapy which can help alleviate pain and discomfort with a very gentle set of mobilisations and stretches which may take from 40-60 minutes to perform depending on extent of issues and blockages within the body. Kinetic Chain Release was founded by Hugh Gilbert (PT) and is taught only by Hugh at this time. If you want to learn how to provide KCR then contact Hugh via www.kineticchainrelease.com or visit his page Kinetic Chain Release.

So this is one of the big behind the scenes projects I have been working on recently.

My availability will be changing over the next few weeks to allow set days for teaching and for treatments.

I will announce the new training and treatment schedule by the end of the week.

The Psoas muscle is the last muscle we release during a KCR session but did you know how fascinating this muscle is...

Here's a few little interesting points about the Psoas...

❤️ We use the Psoas (and Iliacus) to lift our knees.

❤️ When the Psoas is tight/ restricted it can cause pain just above your coccyx.

❤️ In traditional Chinese philosophy the Psoas stores the soul.

❤️ In Western medicine it has been linked to the "fight, flight, freeze, fawn" response. Chronic stress can cause it to tighten.

❤️ It's is used for stability and crosses between the torso and legs. (Although classed as a back muscle.)

If any of these fact make you think of that's me then get your KCR appointment booked asap.

There is still time to secure your place on my next "Introduction to Connective Tissue" course on 10th and 11th August.

This course is the 2nd step along the KCR pathway to bodywork mastery.

It gives an in depth understanding of Connective Tissue, how to connect to your own Connective Tissue, how to connect to and work with other people's connective Tissue and an in depth understanding of just how important this unassuming body system is.

Head on over to the KCR Academy website to secure your space on this course.
