It was wonderful to be part of the Social Enterprise Scotland Awards at the end of last week! 🏆

Lifelink was proud to be nominated in the Health and Social Care category, and our own Service Director, Felice Bretman, was recognised as a finalist in the Employee Champion category.

While we didn’t take home a trophy this time, our double nomination is a testament to the quality of our services and the dedication of our incredible team.

Congratulations to all the nominees and a special well done to the winners! And thank you to Social Enterprise Scotland and all the event sponsors for putting together such an inspiring awards evening! 👏

It's Stress Awareness Day today, and it's great to see that amongst the hustle and bustle of the CIPD Annual Conference, stress management and wellbeing have also been given their place.

There's a dedicated quiet room and a Refresh and Reflect Café, complete with free massages and headphones offering a choice of classical music or mindfulness and meditation tracks.

That’s why we offer a specialist counselling service for the Deaf Community, delivered via British Sign Language (BSL), Sign Supported English and lip-reading.

Counselling for Young People🩵

When Amelia was referred to Lifelink’s school counselling service, she felt anxious, isolated, and unable to talk about her feelings.

Through a simple idea from her Lifelink counsellor she began keeping a diary - a safe space to write down thoughts for her parents to read and respond to. Through this simple but powerful tool, and gentle support in counselling, Amelia found her voice and rebuilt her confidence.
