Lifelink

Lifelink Lifelink supports individuals to be healthier and happier wherever they live, work or learn.

As a social enterprise charity Lifelink exists to provide an early and crisis intervention, stress management, mental health improvement, emotional resilience and personal development service, within a supportive and accessible therapeutic environment, in particular but not exclusively in areas of high deprivation and for people and communities most affected by health inequalities. Our focus is on providing a high-quality, client –centred service for young people and adults based on the holistic and social model of health. To ensure this, we work extensively in building and maintaining high quality partnerships and relationships with a wide range of strategic and delivery partners and networks to support a community development approach to service delivery. We operate our services in response to commissioned work, grant funded programmes, service level agreements and new partnership agreements.

We were proud to see our CEO, Jacqui Taylor, representing Lifelink last week at Social Enterprise Scotland’s The Gathering 2026.

For over three decades, we have been supporting mental health and wellbeing across communities, schools, prisons, and workplaces. Events like this are a powerful reminder of the strength and collaboration within Scotland’s social enterprise community.

A huge thank you to Social Enterprise Scotland for hosting such an important conversation, and to the brilliant panel alongside Jacqui.

We’re always proud to stand alongside organisations committed to doing what’s right for people and communities.

On , we want to make sure that while you’re waiting for counselling support, you still have access to ways to look after your wellbeing.

We know our free counselling service has a waiting list, and we appreciate how challenging that can be. That’s why we also offer a range of wellbeing classes covering topics like resilience, confidence, relaxation, stress management and more - designed to help support your mental health while you wait. They're a great way to build skills, connect with others and take positive steps for your wellbeing.

Anyone with a Glasgow postcode can sign up at: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/lifelink-8347051196

Today, we're supporting our friends at Mind on , highlighting the importance of talking openly and honestly about mental health.

At Lifelink, we provide free counselling, but that service is currently experiencing very high demand, and we do have a waiting list.

Last year, we supported more than 19,800 people across our communities, and we continue to work hard to reach as many people as possible, but we know that being on a waiting list for support can be incredibly difficult.

This Mind guide on coping while on a waiting list for therapy, offers practical advice and strategies that may be helpful during this time: https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/drugs-and-treatments/talking-therapy-and-counselling/how-to-cope-on-a-waiting-list-for-therapy/
