Not a 9–5… and definitely not boring! We’re looking for caring people to join our small local team. Shifts are 7am–2pm and 3:45pm–10pm, including evenings and weekends (some flexibility available). Local work, great team, and the chance to make a big difference every single day.

FREE weekly games evening at the Red Brick Building: starting next week!

We’re excited to start a brand-new games evening every Tuesday, 6pm – 9pm. Come along for a fun and sociable evening where you can enjoy a range of board games, card games and table tennis. Plus, The Geeky Gamer will be running the adventure board game HeroQuest!

6pm – 7pm: Under 18’s
7pm – 9pm: 18’s and over

Everyone is welcome. Come alone or bring friends and family. No need to book; just turn up on the night and have fun! And The Old Tannery Glastonbury is available for drinks and food too.

We’re able to provide this games night to everyone for free up until 31st March, thanks to the generous support of Somerset Community Foundation.

A quick heads up that we’re awaiting the delivery of our brand-new table tennis tables. We’ll be getting them asap, but advance warning that the table tennis activity may have to start a week later. We think it’ll be worth the wait though!

Somerset Adult Social Care services are doing a fundraiser for us at rushton for ‘Sandy Chops’ the boy we took in after his owner went to hospital and never sadly returned. If you remember we shared with you that the family in charge of the finances refused to help us with monies for Sandy and instead wanted us to just “Put it to sleep” obviously we refused.

The social services team have been wonderful and wanted to help by doing their own fundraising for Sandy chops, how lovely is that!! You can see what they are doing to raise the funds via the link below.. please support them if able, all funds raised come directly to Rushton.
