When we think of Christmas today, we imagine December 25th, nativity scenes, gift-giving, and festive traditions. But historically, the story of Christmas is far more layered and manufactured.

Most historians agree that Jesus Christ was likely born sometime between 6–4 BCE, during the rule of the Roman Empire (although there isn’t much real evidence he existed at all). The Bible does not record an exact date for his birth, and early Christians did not celebrate it at all. Instead, their focus was on Jesus’ teachings and death.

From an occult perspective, Christmas is not simply a historical birthday, it is a mystery of light, initiation, and cosmic rebirth.
