Good news! A new online and TV ban on the advertising of unhealthy food comes into full effect today.

The ban prevents ads for "less healthy" food and drinks appearing on television between 5.30am and 9pm, and online at any time, “less healthy” foods being those considered to play the most significant role in childhood obesity, including soft drinks, chocolates and sweets, pizzas, cakes and ice creams, but also breakfast cereals, sweetened bread products and yoghurts.

Regular checks to detect small cavities is recommended for good dental health. Early treatment prevents cavities from becoming bigger, avoiding the need for larger fillings that ultimately weaken the tooth.

🤓🤓🤓 We checked it out so that you don’t have to!

The brush is satisfactory on the main surfaces, but the less accessible areas between teeth and along the gum line, are not properly cleaned. The brush is bulky and more intrusive than traditional toothbrushes.

As always, our recommendation for good dental hygiene is two minutes of brushing with correct technique, using either an electric or traditional mid to soft toothbrush. You’re welcome to ask for advice at your next visit.
