Last year, 55% of disabled people were facing extreme fuel poverty. Since then, energy bills have continued to rise and the UK Government has voted to cut health-related Universal Credit.

DES want to know what has changed. Your voice helps hold decision-makers to account.

DES have launched new surveys for 2026 covering:
