At Prosperity Care & Wellbeing, we know that pets are so much more than animals! They’re companions, friends, and family. This National Pet Month, we’re shining a light on the special bonds between the people we support and the animals that bring them joy every single day.

Try Tuesday: Take a proper 15-minute break 🧘‍♀️

Today, we are focusing on ‘wellbeing’ with a simple but powerful challenge: take a full 15-minute break, properly away from everything.

It might sound small, but stepping away completely can make a big difference to your energy, focus, and mood.

Here are a few ideas to make the most of your 15 minutes:
☕ Make a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy it slowly
🌿 Step outside for some fresh air
📵 Put your phone aside and take a few deep breaths
🎧 Listen to a favourite song or short podcast
🚶 Take a short walk to reset your mind

The key is to fully disconnect, even if just for a short while. Taking regular breaks helps prevent burnout and supports both your wellbeing and how you get through your day/week.

Today’s challenge: Schedule and take one proper 15-minute break. No multitasking allowed!

Good nutrition plays a big part in keeping our bodies and minds feeling their best. Trying new foods is a simple and enjoyable way to add variety to your meals while discovering flavours you might love.
