We love it when our patients respond to our feedback questionnaires. In a recent survey 65% of people were happy with their automatically generated appointment, and 33% said it was very easy to change the appointment day/time, to what suited them best.

There is some helpful advice below on eating more mindfully. When we eat, often affects our food choices. Eating healthy foods at regular intervals, can help us to not over eat during the holiday season.

Intuitive eating principle number 2. Recognise your hunger. This means listening to your body and try to recognise its hunger and fullness cues and respond to them. Waiting until you are super hungry may mean overeating or eating less healthy choices. If your hungry, eat something! Your body may have different needs on different days so appetite might vary. Accept that what may fill you up one day may be too much on another day or not enough the day after. So tune into your body's needs.
Have some healthier snacks available to reduce risk of reaching for less healthy options

Patients often ask us if their vision meets the legal limit for driving. At diabetic eye screening, we are looking at the blood vessels at the back of your eyes for damage caused by diabetes. Although we ask you to read an eye chart, we are not checking your vision at 20 metres or testing your peripheral vision. We are unable to tell you if you meet legal eyesight standards. Gloucestershire constabulary recently posted the driving eyesight rules below. If you have any concerns about your vision, and safety to drive, please visit your local optician.
