When I chose to do an AMRAP at the end of every exercise…

I think my faces says it all🤣

But I felt SO good for it! Endorphins flying, feeling strong and feeling empowered!

This is also what I strive for all my clients to feel after each session, whether that is in person PT, or my online coaching clients!

Growth happens when we step outside of our comfort zone👟

If a movement pattern starts to feel easier or automatic, this is not a sign to coast and just go through the motions, it’s an invitation to challenge and push yourself further💪🏼

That could mean adding resistance, increasing the rep range, more control of the movement, increasing the range of movement, or adding pauses/holds (everyone’s favourite 🤣) etc, etc!

So, if you are finding you are beginning to fall into your comfort zone, what can you do to challenge yourself in a new, and more powerful way?✨

I love being able to incorporate classical Pilates onto the reformer. But just because it is performed on a reformer, doesn’t mean it changes the movement’s essence or benefits!

The hardest thing is to start!

But it could be (I’d even argue it would be) the BEST decision you’ve made

So see this as your sign to make time for you and make yourself a PRIORITY🫶🏼

For your HEALTH, your FITNESS, your STRENGTH, your WELLBEING

Even if it is just being able getting out for a walk, or doing some movement at home, setting time aside just for something for you, honestly you’ll feel so much better for it✨

But the honest truth though?

To feel and notice change, you need to be consistent!

Training is a personal thing, so the key to success is ensure you are doing something that is sustainable and enjoyable to you. This will then lead you to being more likely to stick with it, which will then build the consistency and then the results will soon follow💪🏼
