As the Spring brings lighter nights and better days. We start to become more active after the winter months.
Do you find you aren’t moving as well as you would like? Do certain muscles feel really tight and sore?
Those muscles that just won’t release and relax no matter what you try.
Notice throughout your day, everyday movements – what do they feel like?
Often our body reacts by adapting to accidents, illness, surgery, mental and emotional stress. It creates a repetitive stress response.
We often create chronic muscle tension that we are not even aware we are creating in our daily movement habits.
How do we resolve this?
With Somatic Movement Education
This teaches you to get out of pain. It is a foundational practice to help you do other things better.
It is never one muscle causing pain, we create compensation patterns which affect the whole body. If it continues long term, that is when structural breakdown can occur. We haven’t resolved the ongoing restriction.
Somatic Movements gives you the tools to reduce or release your own pain for long term. Simple movements when done regularly can bring more efficient, co-ordinated, pain-free physical movement.
