We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Jack Daniels won the Registered Care Manager award last night at the the South West Great British Care Awards held in Bristol.

This is a truly amazing achievement and well-deserved recognition for the amazing job he does here at St. Oswald's.

Jack will now enter into the national awards which will be held in February 2026.

Congratulations Jack!! We are all rooting for you!

What an incredible achievement by our resident Remembrance Team - who have today confirmed the final figure they will be donating to their chosen military charity for this year, Little Troopers.

Village Manager Juliana Devi Rossi accepted a presentation cheque on behalf of the charity for £5,148.11- which is the incredible result of a year-long programme of fundraising culminating in our Remembrance Evening on Saturday...

A truly remarkable achievement, well done St. Oswald's 👏

What a fantastic evening we had on Saturday for our Remembrance Main Event and charity fundraiser in aid of the fabulous Little Troopers charity - organised by our resident Remembrance Team. Little Troopers have published the below thank video which we wanted to share with everyone...

We are all set for our 2025 Remembrance Fundraising Evening at St. Oswald's.

This event is the culmination of a year-long fundraising programme of events organised by our resident Remembrance Team - in aid of the amazing Little Troopers charity!

All those in attendance will be treated to a 2-course meal and live music before the event concludes with a poignant finale led by the Remembrance Team itself, accompanied by a live playing of The Last Post and Reveille.

We will remember them...

What a wonderful evening we had on Saturday...with a fantastic performance by the hugely talented Cinderford Band.

This was the penultimate installment from the 2025 programme of events organised by our resident Remembrance Team - the proceeds from all of which will be donated to their nominated charity for this year Little Troopers.

Tickets for our Remembrance Main Event, scheduled for Saturday 8th November, are on sale from 10am tomorrow (Monday 27th October). Please book at our Remembrance Box Office in person, here at St. Oswald's.

St. Oswald's celebrated it's 15th anniversary in style this evening - with the fabulous Temple Brothers!! What an amazing night of classic Everly Brothers tunes and other classics from the 50s and 60s!

Huge congratulations to Patrick for organising such a wonderful and fitting celebration, to Nicola and her catering team for the amazing food, and of course to all our fabulous volunteers who played such an integral role in everything - as they always do!

Happy 15th Annivesary, St. Oswald's...what a wonderful community we have!!

On Friday afternoon, we held our annual MacMillan fundraising afternoon at St. Oswald's which featured a fabulous cake sale, prize raffle, BINGO and various other MacMillan games. The final figure has now been confirmed (see below)!....

WELL DONE ST. OSWALD'S!! A truly fantastic result...

A big thank you to all our wonderful staff and volunteers who contributed to this success - and to the fantastic number of residents and friends who turned out to support this amazing cause!

The fabulous Kim & Jack returned to St. Oswald's on Saturday night for their much anticipated annual 'Me & Mrs. Jones' performance at the village! Absolutely fantastic as always!!

It's always such a pleasure to have them back to entertain us...

A wonderful atmosphere and great to see so many singing and dancing the night away!
