Today, we had the amazing opportunity to visit a local school (The Crypt School) for their Careers, Business & Job Roles event! 🎓 We showcased what dental technicians do and how exciting it is to be part of this skilled profession. From crafting life-changing dental prosthetics to working with cutting-edge technology, this career is both artistic and scientific!

However, the industry is facing a challenge… Since 2008, the number of dental technicians in the UK has dropped by 34%, while the number of dentists has increased by nearly 25%! 📉

🔹 2024: 4,935 dental technicians

This decline is concerning for the future of dental care. That’s why it’s crucial to raise awareness about this rewarding career and inspire the next generation to become registered dental professionals! 🦷💙
