Ever felt overwhelmed but kept saying “I’m fine” because you didn’t want to bother anyone?
You’re not alone — and you’re definitely not a burden.
My latest blog explores why asking for help isn’t a weakness…
✨ It’s a strength
✨ It’s an act of connection
✨ And sometimes, it’s the kindest thing you can do for yourself and the people who care about you
If you’ve been carrying too much on your own, this one’s for you.
💛 You’re not meant to hold everything together alone.

Asking for Help Isn’t a Weakness — It’s a Gift (For You and Them)Many of us grew up believing that strength means handling everything on our own. We push through, keep going, and hold everything together — even when we feel stretched to our limits or overwhelmed. Reaching out can feel unfami...

Who do you think you are? Let's talk about imposter syndrome!

Introduction:Do you ever feel like a fraud — like you’re just one mistake away from being “found out”? Maybe you’ve achieved success, but deep down you don’t feel worthy of it. Or you struggle to speak up, ask for more, or take risks because you secretly believe: “I’m not really good...

When a friendship begins to fade or end abruptly — sometimes through ghosting — it can stir up feelings of rejection, sadness, or guilt. Yet these moments often signal a deeper need for growth or clearer boundaries.
As a therapist, I want to share practical insights to help you navigate friendship changes with understanding, self-respect, and emotional steadiness.

“People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.”When you understand which category a person falls into, you'll know what to do with that relationship - whether to cherish the lesson they brought (reason), enjoy the time you have together (season), or nurture the long-term conn...

I created Your Next Step Forward because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, limited by beliefs we don’t even see.

When I became aware of my own unconscious fears, I realised how much they influenced my decisions.

Recognising them and then learning how to overcome them allowed me to step forward with confidence and I want to help other women do the same.

Today’s tiny step is to reflect for just 5 minutes on one belief from your past that may be shaping your decisions today. Simply recognising it will start to change it.

Write down one decision you avoided this week.

Ask yourself, is this fear coming from my unconscious mind?

Awareness is the first step to change. Once you see the pattern you can choose differently.

TINY STEP TODAY:
Take just one micro-action - even just 5 minutes to move towards the thing you’ve been avoiding!

You’re not stuck - you’re ready to run an updated version.

09/11/2025

Many women feel stuck - they know they want change but can’t move forward.

It’s not laziness or lack of motivation, it’s their unconscious mind repeating negative beliefs about failure, not being enough or not deserving of success that keeps them frozen.

The path to confidence becomes clearer when these beliefs are brought to the light and gently challenged.

A very small step forward is to choose one tiny action today that moves you just a little closer to what you want. It could be sending an email, saying yes to something new, or even taking 5 minutes to imagine yourself succeeding. Every small conscious step rewires your mind and builds courage and confidence.

You’re not broken, you’re ready to move forward!

My Story

Specialist Women's Confidence Coach and Hypnotherapist. Helping women to let go of the the blocks that hold them back and helping them to live more joyfully.

As a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Confidence Expert I’ve studied and continue to study what makes people happy and unhappy.

I’ve learned why people often behave the way they do and how to help people who want to stop doing, thinking and feeling things that have been making them unhappy. I don’t judge what you should or shouldn’t be doing – you tell me what’s making you unhappy and how you’d prefer to be and together we’ll use the skills I’ve learned to help guide you to overcome whatever it is that you want to change.

So here’s the thing … no one is perfect. We’re all good at some things and not so good at others.
