Following the recent outbreak of Meningitis B in Kent, please be advised that there is currently no catch-up vaccination programme available through the NHS. Should you have missed a vaccination or were not eligible and wish to have the vaccination you can have this administered privately. Should you have any concerns that yourself or a family member is displaying symptoms please seek guidance from NHS 111 or visit your local A&E department. The aims of the Breastfeeding Network's Breastfeeding Friendly Scheme are to:
• Support and empower families to feel confident breastfeeding out and about, as is their legal right
• Offer a way for businesses to show that they are working towards welcoming and supporting breastfeeding
• Raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding and of the barriers parents may face

Today, we opened our newly refurbished Phlebotomy unit at East Surrey Hospital for pre-booked appointments - you can now find us by the East Entrance!

Walk-in patients should continue using the phlebotomy unit in the orange zone. We will accept walk-in patients at East Surrey Hospital until 31 March 2025.

You can now book blood test appointments online for the first time using SwiftQueue, our new patient booking system designed to reduce waiting times, improve efficiency, and enhance patient experience.

Patients at East Surrey Hospital can access the new online portal to book an appointment from 10 March 2025, whilst patients at Crawley and Horsham Hospitals will be able to book appointments from 1 April 2025.

The Trust will continue to accept walk-in patients until Monday 31 March 2025.
