Orpheus is an independent specialist college in Surrey that increases the confidence and skills of young disabled adults through the performing arts. We believe that every young disabled person should have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers. We offer a holistic learning programme, a supported housing scheme and a domiciliary support service.

👋 Meet Courtney!

I live with my sister, mum, nanna and grandad.
At the weekend I enjoy attending my regular Theatre group and seeing my family.

I’m a Dance Major at Orpheus currently hoping to go into Art or Drama next year as those are my favourite interests. I’m happy to be back with the Marketing group as I have lots of experience with it.
At Orpheus, I enjoy spending time with my peers, chatting with staff, my Independence sessions where I cook and go on trips, lots of the lunch clubs - my favourite one is wellbeing Story Massage - and helping with the Sensory shop on a Friday.

In this club, everyone was welcome to explore being a Fashion Designer using small mannequins, fabrics and colouring pages, or come up with mood boards for work outfits. Such a fabulous range of styles in display 👏
