These past 2 weeks I have had the pleasure of treating the gorgeous Chanty ❀️ she had an issue of not moving quite right and seeming lame under saddle, and upon gait analysis, it was discovered that she plaited with her right hind and struggled to step under.

The first week consisted of getting to know Chanty and her lovely owner, doing a full massage routine and a full stretching routine to find out her sore areas. It soon became apparent she was sore around the illium (hip) and the fascia around it needed releasing. She was also sore around her shoulder on her opposite side, as she had been compensating for the pain.

On arriving for the second treatment, I was really happy to learn she had made lots of progress within the first week. We did another gait analysis, and the plaiting had stopped in walk, was only just visible in trot and she was able to step under on a circle. Chanty had another full massage and stretching routine but this time, more time was spent on releasing the fascia surrounding the pelvis.

Her lovely owner is now looking forward to getting back in the saddle, and I am excited to see the progress these two make 😍

If I can help you and your horse feel their best, whether for maintenance or for rehabilitation, please don't hesitate to get in touch ☺️
