Funeral service at St Mary’s Parish Church, Carlton on Tuesday 23rd December, 1.30pm. Afterwards at Drax Sports & Social Club. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired for Different Strokes and St Mary’s Church.

Sadly announcing, on 22nd November 2025, peacefully in hospital, with family by her side, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon. Much loved mum of Christine and the late Andrew. Mum-in-law of Richard and Caron. Cherished nanna of Louise, Mark and Katy, Alexander and Olivia. Proud great nanna of Thomas and William, Curtis, Evie and Zach, Harry and Otis. A much loved sister of Ann.
A service of celebration to be held on Friday 12th December, 12 noon at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun. Afterwards at The Brewer's Arms, Snaith. All very welcome.

It is with a heavy heart that Joanne and family announce the passing of Pete, age 75 years on the 18th November 2025, peacefully in Scunthorpe hospital.
A funeral service will be held at Snaith Priory Church at 11am on Tuesday 9th December, followed by a private committal.
A celebration of life will be held after, at the Brewer’s Arms, Snaith. Donations gratefully recieved for the British Liver Trust.

Sadly announcing on 7th November 2025, in Doncaster Hospital, aged 57 years, of Snaith.
Dearly loved daughter of Ron. Treasured mum to Ryan. Dear sister to David. Cherished grandma to Finlay and Penelope. A great friend to many.
Funeral service will be held at the Priory Church of St Laurence, Snaith on Thursday 20th November at 2pm, followed by private committal at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun. Donations in lieu, if desired, for the Department of Critical Care at Doncaster Hospital who gave outstanding care to Amanda and her family. A reception will be held afterwards at The Black Lion, Snaith.

Sadly announcing on 4th October 2025, aged 84 years.
Dearly loved mother to Jayne and Helen. Cherished grandmother to Elise, Gregory and Evangeline. Dear mother-in-law to Richard and Mick.
Funeral service at St Paul’s Church, Hensall on Wednesday 5th November at 12 noon, followed by private interment in the churchyard. Flowers are very welcome. Donations for Hensall Church. Family and friends are most welcome for refreshments after the service at The Bay Horse Inn, Great Heck.

Brian BONSER,
Brian died peacefully in Margaret's arms on September 10th, aged 89 years, of West Cowick.
Beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Gill, father-in-law of Neil and Dianne and a much loved grandad of Kate and family, Abbie,and Millie, Ellie and Evie. A proud great grandad of Lottie, Harry and Olivia. Will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral service on Friday 3rd October, 12 noon at Memoria Crematorium, Barnby Dun. Family flowers only please. Afterwards at The Peppered Pig, East Cowick.

Alan Walter 'Locky' Lockwood
Eileen, Matthew, Gemma & Sally (his treasured cat) are sad to announce the passing of Alan, on 25th August in Scunthorpe Hospital, aged 70 years of West Cowick.
Originally a 'Cas lad' who loved village life and the surrounding area. Funeral to take place at East Cowick Church on Thursday 11th September at 1.30pm, followed by refreshments at The Ship Inn, West Cowick. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to be shared between Mind Mental Health & Cowick Church Yard.
The family would also like to thank his sisters and brother-in-law, kind neighbours and strangers-alike for looking out for Alan in the later stages of his life. They take some comfort in knowing he is finally at peace.

Patrick ' Pat' McEvoy
Pat's family are heartbroken at the loss of their Dad and Grandad extraordinaire. Finally reunited with his wife Pauline and loved very much by many. Passed away peacefully, on 8th August 2025, aged 86 years. He was fun, kind, wise and unconventional in the most delightful ways. He was a self made, accomplished man, strong until the last moment. His family are so very proud of him. A well respected retired Inspector for West Yorkshire Police.
Graveside service (optional) at All Saints Church, Crofton, Sunday 24th August at 2pm, followed by a celebration of his wonderful life at Ackworth School, Pontefract Rd, WF7 7LT, at 3pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Gate 41 at Pinderfields Hospital and Dementia UK.

Dress code: Colourful attire please
