4th August 1959 – 28th January 2026

Wendy Calvert Rose passed away peacefully on 28th January 2026, aged 66. A much-loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Wendy will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and the love she gave so freely to those around her.

She is now reunited with her late husband, Brian, with whom she shared a deep and lasting bond. Together again, they are held in the hearts and memories of all who loved them.

Wendy leaves behind her devoted children, Amanda and Simon; her treasured grandchildren, Reyhanne, Ethan and Callum; and her adored Grandchildren in laws Chris and Amy, all of whom were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.

Wendy touched many lives with her gentle nature and caring spirit, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The funeral service for Wendy will take place at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, on 25th February 2026 at 1:20pm. The family warmly welcome anyone who knew and loved Wendy to attend and join them in celebrating her life.

In Loving Memory of Helen Allen

It is with deep sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of Helen Allen, who left us peacefully on 18th January 2026.

Helen was a devoted mother, a cherished sister, a loving grandmother, and a friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family defined her life and will remain her greatest legacy.

Helen leaves behind her beloved sons Richard, Shaun, Brendan, and Regan, who were the pride and joy of her life, and her dear sister Julie, with whom she shared a special and enduring bond. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Holly, Logan, Lucy, Charlie, Mia and Rosie, each of whom brought her endless happiness and laughter.

Helen is now reunited with her much-loved sisters Leslie and Linda, a comfort to those she leaves behind, knowing they are together once more.

She will be remembered for her caring heart, her resilience, and the quiet strength she showed in all she did. Helen’s love lives on in the memories she created, the family she cherished, and the lives she shaped so deeply.

A funeral service to celebrate Helen’s life will take place on 19th February at 2:00pm, at Memoria, Barnby Dunn. All who knew and loved Helen are welcome to attend and honour a truly special woman who will be forever missed and always remembered.

Patrick "Pat" Shaughnessy passed away on 18th January 2026, aged just 27 years. Words feel painfully small in the face of such a loss, for Pat was taken far too soon, leaving behind a heartbroken family, devoted friends, and a world forever changed by his absence.

Pat leaves behind his loving mum, Tina and dad Graham; his brother Matthew; his son Haiden; his cherished grandparents, Susan and John; his Auntie Sarah and Uncle Andy, and their children Stephanie, Guy, and Emma; his Auntie Mary and Uncle Simon and their children Luke, Rachel, and Christian; his Auntie Elaine and Uncle Mark and their children Ryan and Kieren; as well as his cousin Stephanie's fiancé Ryan and their children Phoebe, Imogen, and Jessica.

Pat was also surrounded by a huge group of friends who he held close to his heart and cared for deeply.

Pat will be remembered for his warm heart, his loyalty, his kindness, and the way he made people feel truly valued.
He had an infectious presence and a genuine love for those around him. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and in the love he leaves behind.

The funeral service for Pat will take place at York Crematorium on 20th February at 1:40pm. Following the service, there will be an opportunity to make donations to Yorkshire Air Ambulance in his memory.

In Loving Memory of Peter Lilley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Lilley, who left us on 12th January 2026, aged 67. Peter was a much-loved brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him.

Peter will be fondly remembered for his love of family, his gentle nature, and the memories he created with those closest to him. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of sharing life’s moments with him.

Peter leaves behind his loving siblings Denice, Steven, Trevor, Jackie, Brian, and Keith. He is now reunited with his beloved sister, the late Glenys. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Coleen and Colette, a cherished father-in-law to Ian and Chris, and a proud and loving grandad to Evangeline, Willow, Caleb, and Charlotte. Peter also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, all of whom he cared for deeply.

A funeral service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at St John’s Church, Goole, on 4th February 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by a committal at Woodlands Crematorium at 2:00pm. The family warmly welcome all who knew and loved Peter to join them at the St John’s church as well as the service at Woodlands Crematorium.

There will be an opportunity after the service to make donations in Peters honor to Dementia UK.

Following the service, family and friends are invited to raise a glass and share memories of Peter at The NUR club, Goole, where his life and legacy will be lovingly remembered.

Margaret was a much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, whose kindness, strength, and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Margaret was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved most. Her warmth, generosity, and caring nature will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

She is now reunited with her beloved partner, Geoff. Margaret leaves behind her loving sons, Mike, Mark, and Martin. She will be missed by her daughters in law Helen and Debbie.

In Loving Memory of Marjorie “Madge” Howard

Madge passed away peacefully on 2nd January 2026, aged 100 years. A remarkable life filled with love, strength, and devotion, Madge is now reunited with her beloved Jack, her sons Noel and Leslie.

She leaves behind her cherished children Michael, Geoffrey, Amy, Cheryl and Michelle, along with generations of family who adored her.

Madge will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her love, kindness, and legacy.

A service to celebrate Madge’s life will be held at St John's Church, Goole, on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 10:30am, followed by a burial at Goole Cemetery, Hook Road, at 11:30am. The family warmly welcome all who knew Marjorie to attend the church service and the committal at the cemetery.

In Madge's honour, donations may be made at the service to Cancer Research UK.
