Elza Jayne Greaves from Goole Town Cricket Club has very kindly putting on a race night on the 6th of February to help raise money for Chasing Rainbows Registered Charity and for cuddle cots.

You can either donate £5 and name the horse and the winner will get a super prize.

Or

Donate £3 sponsor the Jockey or Trainer or Owner, if that horse wins then a prize to the winners.

Just to add more excitement there’s even a raffle!

To donate please bring cash to either the office at Casselden & Walsh or at Goole Town Cricket Club.

There will be a £3 door admission fee on the night.

We have had services here for Church of England, Russian and Greek Orthodox and Humanist.

Funeral Announcement for Geoffery “Geoff” Gravil

It is with deep sadness and great love that we announce the passing of Geoffery Gravil, a devoted father, cherished brother, and much-loved uncle. Geoffery left this world peacefully, leaving behind memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

He was a proud and loving father to Chloe and Callum, whose lives he shaped with unwavering care, gentle guidance, and a heartfelt devotion that never wavered. A beloved brother to Carol, one filled with warmth, laughter, and the unspoken understanding that only siblings share.

His niece Vikki held a special place in his heart, and he in hers—an uncle who gave freely of his time, kindness, and affection.

A funeral service to honour Geoffery’s life will be held on 16th December at 10:30am at St John’s Parish Church, followed by a burial at Hook Road Cemetery. All who knew and loved him are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.

Though Geoffery may no longer walk beside us, his love will forever remain—steady, enduring, and deeply felt.

May he rest in peace.

We have already got to a total enough to raise for one cuddle cot which will be donated to Hull Royal Infirmary’s Mother and Baby Unit.

We cannot thank you enough to those who have donated.

So from Team Rocky a big thank you! ❤️

We have also got some other exciting things for people to help raise even more money and hopefully and secure a second cuddle cot. 🤞🏻

We do this to support everyone in our community whether we have taken care of them or not.

Myself Kirsty and our beautiful friends under the name are doing Tough Mudder Tough Mudder UK to help raise money for Chasing Rainbows Registered Charity and for cuddlecots to be donated to and we have raised £555 so far which is incredible.

We are doing it memory of very close friends of ours in memory of their angel baby Rocky. So in his memory we can offer kindness to those who need it most.

I had the absolute privilege to help donate a cuddle cot with Peterson Funeral Services to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice with the lovely Cody and Liam in memory of their angel baby Macie-Mae.

I also had the privilege to speak to Mark Sewards MP who is helping us get our profession regulated to keep our standards the best it can be.

To say I was emotional is an understatement.

I can’t thank everyone who has nominated me for a spotlight enough but this comment right here really touched my heart.

I wish there were words that I could say to take the pain away and to say thank you for trusting me with your angel baby.
