Yesterday, Westfield Park came together to remember all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Everyone proudly wore their poppies as we took time to reflect, share memories, and honour the bravery and dedication of those who gave so much.

🎃👻 Halloween Fun at Westfield Park!

This afternoon, we’ve been celebrating Halloween in the sweetest way — with a spooktacular afternoon tea! Residents enjoyed delicious treats and had plenty of laughter as we shared stories and spooky fun together.

It’s always wonderful to see so many smiles and to spend time celebrating these special moments as a community.

We have been getting creative this week with a pumpkin painting activity, and the results have been fantastic. It’s been lovely to see everyone’s artistic side shine through and to share some laughter along the way.

We’re also looking forward to our upcoming event this Friday in the Residential Lounge. Families and friends are warmly invited to join us for an afternoon of seasonal fun, refreshments, and good company.

Autumn is in full swing here at Westfield Park and we can’t wait to celebrate together.

Bauble Donations Wanted!

The festive season is fast approaching, and here at Westfield Park Care Home, we’re getting ready to make our home sparkle with Christmas cheer.

This year, we’d love to decorate our Christmas tree with the help of our community. We’re asking for bauble donations (new or gently used) to help us create a beautiful, festive display for our residents to enjoy.

Every bauble tells a story, and we’d love for your decorations to be part of ours.

Donations can be dropped off at our receptions.
Thank you for helping us make this Christmas extra special for our residents.

Halloween Festivities 🎃

We had an amazing time today at our early Halloween party here at Westfield Park Care Home. Les Mick performed live in our Haven Lounge, bringing fantastic music and great vibes all around.

Everyone got into the spirit with costumes, singing, and plenty of laughter. It was a joy to see so many smiles and hear all the singing echo through the lounge.

A big thank you to Les Mick for the brilliant entertainment, and to all the staff and residents who made it such a fun and memorable afternoon.

Changeover Party Celebration

Yesterday we held a wonderful Changeover Party to celebrate Care UK. A special thank you to Ruth Getz for her fantastic performance—it was enjoyed by all and really added to the atmosphere.

We’re also pleased to share that we raised £100 for Mission Trinity Foodbank as part of our Harvest Festival efforts.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the day a success. It was a great example of community spirit in action.
