Wishing a happy and peaceful Christmas to all my friends and followers, with love from me and Poppy 🎄🐈‍⬛❤️

Made my first wreath from the garden this year for my door - which has been closed today for family time, but remains very much Open over the rest of the festive period for anyone who needs anything during this time 🌿❤️

My thoughts are with all those who are missing their loved ones, be it your first Christmas without someone, or if many years have passed. It never gets any easier 💙

Thoughts also with anyone who might be carrying a little black dog of their own for any reason. This time of year can be so difficult for so many 🖤

On a lighter note, there is some good news.. The darkest day has been and gone... And lighter days are coming ☀️

Order of Service 🪻📖

A bespoke design for Sue Wiley, whose grandaughter spoke fondly of an 'earthy lady who loved lavender and the colour purple'. A wicker coffin was to be woven with sprigs of fresh lavender for this celebrant-lead service here in Gorleston.

Thank you so much Hazel King for recommending me to do these for this lovely family. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with you recently. And a big thanks to my good friend Michele for recommending me to Hazel! Word of mouth really means so much 💜💙

My living room this evening as I get ready for the Bumper Christmas Fair tomorrow / today at the Waterlane Leisure centre Lowestoft 🎄❤️💚

And a few pics from Blundeston Church a few weeks ago!

Pop in tomorrow if you're local, there's over 60 stalls with so many lovely things for Christmas 😃 11am-3pm!

I'll be there with plants, cards and seed gifts.. My Mum with her amazing knitted sheep hats and loads of other handmade stuff🪡🧶 including homemade blackberry jam and lemon curd made with my allotment produce 💜🍋

We've been doing a lot of those lately, usually Hopton Church every other week. I propogate all the plants and buy up nice pots from the local charity shops to sell them.. They keep selling, so I keep going back for more pots and have become such a regular now that one of the shops has offered me a window 🥰💙

Anyway.. a story for another day.. 2.54am eek.. must post and sleep!

The garden today looking rather cottagey 🏠💐

And one from a couple of weeks ago when I noticed our tree was looking like a giant beech topiary heart! Total accident, but I'm approving so much that I might request it on purpose next time 🌳💚

I'd usually have poppies by now, but suspecting it might have been too wet for them to get going. And the ones that did appear, quickly disappeared into the mouths of giant slugs and snails. They've been relentless this year 🐌😩 !

I guess the Campanula and Foxgloves aren't so tasty to a slug and have taken over quite beautifully so I'm not complaining too much 💙
