IMPORTANT MESSAGE: We are very understaffed with Drs today due to unexpected sickness. If you feel you can wait to speak to a GP then please ring in triage next week. Remember, that the pharmacy is always available to help and will direct you to the GP if they are not able to. Many thanks for your understanding

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The surgery will be closed on Thursday 16th October from 1.30pm for staff training. We will reopen as normal on Friday 17th October.
Please note if you require medical assistance during this time you can access your local pharmacy for some common ailments such as coughs, headaches, sore throat, diarrhoea etc, however, if you need urgent care that cannot wait until the the surgery is open then please ring 01656 523650.

Flu vaccinations : Please read

There will be weekend clinics running at GP practices in Llwchwr Cluster where you can receive your flu vaccination.

If you have been invited by your GP practice or the health board, please don’t ignore it.

Weekend clinics will be held at:
👉 Princess Street Surgery on Saturday 4th and Saturday 18th October, for flu and Covid vaccinations. Invitations will be sent from the health board.
👉 Ty'r Felin Surgery on Saturday 4th, Saturday 11th, Saturday 18th and Saturday 25th October. Patients aged 65 and over will be invited by the health board. At risk patients aged under 65 will be sent invites to book through the surgery.
👉 Talybont Surgery on Saturday 4th and Saturday 11th October, between 9am and 12pm. Patients can make appointments or can walk-in.
👉 Estuary Group Practice on Saturday 4th, Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th October between 9am and 4pm.

Patients will need an appointment for the weekend clinics. If you are registered at one of the above GP practices and are eligible for the flu vaccination but have not received an invite, please contact your practice.

Make sure you get your vaccine to help protect you this winter.

We are very short of GP's today, please only ring if you feel you can not wait until another day. Please remember that Pharmacies offer free help and advise for many ailments - they will direct you to the GP if they can not deal with it. Thank you for your understanding

On the 1st July we are very short staffed with GP's. We will not be opening E-consult on this day only - we will only be taking telephone triage calls on the usual surgery number from 8am until full - sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
