I am pleased to share the publication of my latest peer reviewed article, Patient Safety in Aesthetic Practice: The Case for Standardised Consultations.

This paper examines patient safety risks within the non surgical cosmetic sector and makes an evidence based case for the adoption of a mandatory standardised consultation framework. Drawing on mixed methods research and grounded in clinical practice, the article highlights how structured consultations can strengthen accountability, improve risk identification, and enhance patient protection as the sector moves towards statutory regulation.

I hope this contribution is of value to practitioners, educators, regulators, and policymakers working to improve standards and safeguard patients within aesthetic practice.
