🌙 A little late-night love from our family to yours…

If you’ve ever been to one of our Candlelit Christmas Memorials, you might have heard our Suzy sing.

Last month, she picked up a ukulele for the first time. She told us she was going to learn… and we all smiled politely and assumed it would collect dust. But she only went and did it.

Tonight, she came downstairs and played us Fix You by Coldplay and honestly, it felt like a little hug for the soul.

So here’s a quiet moment, from our home to yours. For anyone missing someone. For anyone who needs a bit of comfort. For anyone who just wants to hear something soft and true.

– Sophia has white tea with no sugar.
– Becks thought she had white tea with one sugar… until we realised Sophs been making it without for months.
– Suze is keeping it clean with water (the youth, honestly).
– And every Wednesday, Michelle and Katy have their sacred Starbucks meeting.

Suzy’s grown up around funerals. She’s watched her mum (yep, that’s Katy) build this family-run business from the ground up, and now she’s proudly learning the ropes herself-one service, one quiet detail at a time.

You’ll find her making sure everything looks just right, calming nervous family members with her kind smile, or double-checking the flowers because she knows how much they matter.

As mums ourselves, we know the joy and chaos that comes with being a mother—the cuddles, the noise, the unconditional love (and the endless piles of washing). But working in a funeral home, we also know the quiet ache that this day can bring.
