Meet Daisy 🐾

This beautiful girl joined us for her first UWTT session this morning, after lots of physiotherapy over the last couple of weeks to get her standing, and hopefully walking again!

Daisy is non-ambulatory (unable to walk), following a C3-C4 intramedullary nucleus pulposus extrusion.

She’s progressing everyday, thanks to the dedication of her owners under the support of our Chartered Physiotherapist. Daisy is an absolute pleasure to work with and we look forward to seeing her continued recovery 🌟

As 2026 is disappearing before our eyes, we wanted to quickly share our thanks to everyone who supported us through 2025.

Although we’ve been open for over six years, we still regularly hear from clients that they didn’t know we existed and wish they’d known about us sooner. So, we’ve set ourselves a 2026 goal to try harder in spreading our awareness locally.

Whether you’ve recommended us to a friend, positively fed back to your vet practice, or taken the time to leave a review — we’re incredibly grateful.

From being barely able to lift his head, back to loving life on all four paws 🐾

Guinness came to us following a severe spinal injury – immobile and struggling to even raise his head from the floor. With a tailored programme of physiotherapy, underwater treadmill therapy and acupuncture, he’s made an incredible recovery and is now back to enjoying his usual daily life.

Here he is with Jo, delivering an acupuncture session as part of his ongoing management for chronic back pain.

We’re so proud of the progress he’s made - a true reminder of just how much our patients can achieve with the right support ✨

Cartmel Show 2025 - what a day! ☀️

By far our busiest year yet – with the help of you all, we delivered over 250 foals 🐴, bandaged up lots of poorly toy pets 🐾, and our whole team (including our vets!) painted endless faces 🎨 – from frogs and snakes to butterflies and even unicorns! We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by to enjoy our stand.

We didn’t manage to capture many photos or videos ourselves but here’s a little glimpse…

Meet Percy 🐾 Percy’s been coming to us for regular hydrotherapy for a little while now — and he’s got the routine down to a fine art. Straight in the treadmill, ready to go!

For Percy, it’s all about keeping on top of his mobility and making sure he stays strong and comfortable long-term. Regular monthly sessions are a brilliant way to support that — and we’ve loved seeing how confident and settled he’s become with it all.

Jeeves, Siri, Ecko and Alexa are all working dogs who spend their days picking up pheasants but they take their preparation, recovery and rehab as seriously as their job.

While they don’t share their hydro sessions (it’s strictly one at a time), we couldn’t resist snapping this line-up while they waited their turn 🐾

Hydrotherapy is ideal for working dogs — helping to optimise overall performance across the season and beyond.
