✨Sharing the positives as 2025 comes to a close ✨
We would love to take a moment to celebrate some of the fantastic achievements at Harrowby Lane Surgery this year! 💙
✅ In the GP National Patient Survey, Harrowby Lane Surgery achieved 8️⃣5️⃣% overall patient satisfaction 😊 scoring higher than both the local and national average, something we are incredibly proud of!

✅ By targeting our flu cohorts earlier this year 📅 we’ve improved our uptake with influenza vaccinations this year. We also received wonderful feedback about our two Saturday Flu and COVID clinics — a huge thank you to our fantastic nursing team 💉💗
✅ 👥 Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) continues to work closely with us to make positive changes ⭐
Fun fact: some PPG members have been involved for over 10 years! Recently, the group organised a Christmas hamper and raised funds for new medical equipment — thank you for your continued dedication!
✅ We listened to patient feedback regarding our contact system and made the decision to return to AccuRx, 📲 ensuring it best suits the needs of our patient population!
🏆 Congratulations to our Minor illness Nurse, Sara, who was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Practice Nursing Award this year — very well deserved! 💕

✅ 🅿️ We listened to your feedback about poor visibility of the car park lines - the work has now been completed! 🚙 You asked for an additional disabled bay - we implemented this! ✔️
✅🛠️ We are one of only a few practices in the area to secure Utilisation and Modernisation funding, allowing us to convert an admin space into a new clinical room. This means more services for our patients in the future - work due to begin in January 2026.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve strengthened our leadership team to better support our patients and staff.
In 2025, the surgery welcomed a new Practice Manager - Nicola Walker, alongside the development of key roles including Office Manager - Joanne Allen, and Administration Lead - Olivia Pulfrey. These changes will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice!
