😍Such a lovely email to receive, thank you😍:
"I just wanted to thank you for the call last week, I’d never considered Raynaud’s because I don’t get it in my fingers… now I’ve looked into it I’m almost certain that is the problem with the painful coldness. For almost a year I have been complaining about them to other medical professionals and being shrugged off as just one of those things! I can now work on managing them a bit better".

Hope you have a lovely Christmas break, look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Thank you again

Michele

As we come to the end of the year, Lucia and I just want to say a huge thank you to all our lovely patients.

It’s been a wonderful year of meeting new faces, catching up with our regulars, sharing plenty of chats and laughs — all while sorting out sore feet, aches, pains and keeping you comfortably on the move 👣

Your trust, loyalty and kindness mean more to us than you know. We truly feel privileged to look after your feet and be part of your health journey.

Now we’re very ready for a little rest, some family time and recharging the batteries ❤️
We’ll be back in the clinic on Monday 5th January, refreshed and ready for another year.

Wishing you all a beautiful Christmas, plenty of health, happiness and comfort — and all the very best for 2026 ✨

Thank you again for being part of the Footsteps family 💛

— Elena & Lucia

🎉 Happy Birthday Footsteps Podiatry! 🎉

Today marks 18 years since I first opened the door to our lovely clinic.
Before that, I spent a few years doing home visits, patiently waiting until I found the right place to call home for Footsteps.

What an incredible journey it has been. We have had the privilege of meeting so many amazing, interesting and loyal clients who truly make Footsteps what it is.

Many of you were there right at the beginning — clients I once visited in their homes — still with us today, now visiting the clinic. This means more to me than I can put into words.

In May 2018, Lucia joined our clinic, beginning her own journey in podiatry, and has become such an important part of Footsteps and our growing clinic family.

We are forever grateful for the friendships, trust, and support we’ve built along the way.

Thank you for being part of our story ❤️

🦶 Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) – Know the Signs - your legs and feet could be at risk🩸

PAD is a common but often under-diagnosed circulation condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the legs and feet. Early detection can make a huge difference.

⚠️ Signs to look out for:
• Leg or calf pain when walking that eases with rest (claudication)
• Cold feet or toes compared to the rest of the body
• Numbness, tingling or weakness in the legs
• Slow-healing cuts, sores or ulcers on the feet
• Shiny skin, colour changes or hair loss on the legs
• Thickened toenails or reduced nail growth
• Weak or absent foot pulses

If you have diabetes, you smoke, have high blood pressure or cholesterol your risk is higher.

👣 How can a podiatrist help?
A podiatrist is often the first professional to spot early PAD signs.

We can:
• Assess foot pulses and circulation
• Check skin, nails, temperature and healing ability
• Identify early warning signs before serious complications occur
• Advise on foot care and provide padding/offloading to reduce ulcers and pressure areas
• Refer you promptly for vascular investigations if needed
• Offer advice on skin care and activity

🩺 Don’t ignore foot symptoms – your feet can reveal what’s happening in the rest of your body.

Early assessment saves limbs and lives.
If something doesn’t feel right get your feet checked.

🕺Struggling with pain that just won’t shift? 🕺

Our MLS Class 4 Laser Therapy has become one of our most popular and effective treatments at Footsteps — and for good reason!

This advanced medical laser helps reduce pain, inflammation and swelling and is used for a wide range of conditions, including:
✨ Plantar fasciitis & heel pain
✨ Achilles tendon issues
✨ Morton’s neuroma
✨ Arthritis & joint pain
✨ Tendonitis
✨ Muscle strains
✨ Knee pain & hip bursitis
✨ Chronic foot & ankle pain
✨ Nerve pain & post-injury recovery

Our clients often tell us how quickly they notice improvements — many experience relief after just a few sessions and love how gentle and comfortable the treatment is.

If you’d like to see whether laser therapy could help you, simply book an MSK appointment and we’ll assess your condition, discuss the best treatment plan and get you moving comfortably again.
