What if we designed health and care services like we design apps - intuitive, responsive, and built around the user?

At our next Person Centred Care Network session, we’ll explore how digital tools can enhance personalisation…or quietly erode it. We’ll tackle big questions about the future of care, from an ageing population to workforce pressures, without losing sight of what matters most: the person.

Join us on Wednesday 11 March, 12–1pm, for another lively session led by Vicky Thomson, Chief Executive of Every-One Lincolnshire. And it’s lunch-friendly, so bring your brew and butties!

Clearer language is already making a real difference across Lincolnshire’s health and care services.

After our Language and Health Literacy Development Day in November, teams didn’t just return to business as usual—they took action. Letters and surveys are being rewritten in clearer, more human language, cutting jargon and making information easier to understand. The momentum is growing, with more development days already filling up fast.

Another really insightful peoples stories panel, facilitated by Caty. Sadly the main themes coming out today aren’t new, but hopefully building this evidence base will help to bring the person and or their carers voice to the heart of decision making locally.

It was great to be part of the conversation with colleagues and Carers, looking forward to making sure Carers voices and experiences are central to the work going forward.

Coming together to support Lincolnshire carers!

A Carers Innovation and Improvement Workshop brought together the local caring community to discuss how to better support Lincolnshire’s 70,000 unpaid carers.

Cllr Steve Clegg, executive member for adult care and health, said "Many unpaid carers feel overwhelmed, reporting that their own wellbeing is affected by their caring role. Our ambition is to achieve more together as a system, ensuring carers feel the benefit of our support in their daily lives. Because when carers thrive, the people they support thrive as well, creating a real win-win for our communities."

COMING SOON! Personalisation Huddle – ‘We had an idea!’: The Lincoln Student Health Network
Join our next Huddle on Thursday 12 February, 9.30am - 11.00am (hosted on Microsoft Teams).
You’ll hear from health and care professionals and students from the newly named Lincoln Student Health Network, including colleagues from the Lincoln Healthcare Partnership PCN and NHS Lincolnshire ICB. They’ll share the real story behind this exciting project: how it started, how it’s grown, and what they’ve learned along the way.
What began as a targeted initiative to increase HPV vaccination uptake among University of Lincoln students has evolved into a broader, more ambitious programme focused on improving student access to physical healthcare and support.
If you’re curious about how starting small, thinking big, and sticking with it can lead to meaningful impact, this huddle is for you.
