We do like a little bit of retail therapy and this week some of our residents have had a great time on a trip out to Bluewater Shopping. From having a look round the shops, enjoying a spot of lunch, a walk by the lake and rounding the trip off with a coffee and doughnut. A perfect day enjoyed by all 🍟☕❤️

Carnival Party at Mayflower 🌈🎉

What an amazing day we had at our Carnival Party! 🥳 The garden was filled with colour, music and laughter as residents, families and friends came together to celebrate.

✨ Highlights included the incredible Jade the stilt walker, who wowed everyone with her skills and the fabulous Sarah the singer, who filled the afternoon with music and got us all into the party spirit 🎤🎶

We are so grateful to everyone who came along and supported us – it really was a day to remember! 💐

🌍❤️ Happy World Humanitarian Day! ❤️🌍
Today, we celebrate the incredible efforts of humanitarians around the globe who work tirelessly to save lives, ease suffering, and bring hope to communities in crisis. Their courage and commitment remind us of the power of compassion and the importance of standing together in the face of challenges.

Did you know that in 2022, over 274 million people worldwide required humanitarian assistance and protection? This day is a call to action for all of us to support their work and make a positive impact, no matter how small.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate these everyday heroes and reflect on how we can contribute to building a kinder, more supportive world. 🌟
