Toddler Sense is a multi-award winning activity programme, for 13 month - 5 year olds. Our classes run weekly in NWKent Dartford & Gravesend.

Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive. Today, we pause to remember and give thanks to those who gave their lives so we could live ours.

We wear our poppies with pride and teach even the youngest generation the importance of remembrance.

Today is the start of week!

It's a great time to remember the many benefits of nursery rhymes for your child's introduction to the world of language, rhythm and imagination.

Singing nursery rhymes or reading simple nursery rhyme books help children to develop speech and language skills amongst many other positives.

Snzzzzzzzzzz!

The clockswill go back by one hour at 2:00 AM on Sunday, October 26th. This change marks the end of British Summer Time (BST) and a return to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), giving people an extra hour of sleep (LOL!) and bringing darker evenings.

Sense of smell plays a powerful role in a baby's and toddler's learning and wellbeing. From the crisp scent of autumn leaves, to the sweet smell of pumpkin spice every new smell can trigger positive physical, emotional and mental responses and play a pivotal role in keeping the brain and body fit and well.

Toddler Sense — Did you know?

Dr Lin Day developed Baby Sensory®, Toddler Sense® and Hello Baby to provide parents with the support and knowledge necessary to lead their baby’s learning and development forwards in the most important years of their lives.

In 1987 and three weeks after the birth of her fourth child Imogen, Lin set up Woodford Nursery School in the local village hall and gained her Diploma in the Montessori Method of Education at St Nicholas College, London.

Over the 15 years of Woodford Nursery School, materials such as the sea, jungle, rain and snow cloths, play band, rope snake, holed cloth, Conga crocodile and other products and activities unique to Baby Sensory® and Toddler Sense® were developed, tested, and refined and are still used today.
