FLU JABS

NHS Flu jabs will be available from Monday 20th of september. You must book these either over the phone or in the pharmacy before hand.

There is a certain criteria in place for you to receive a FREE NHS flu jab. For those that do not meet the criteria, there will be a charge.

NOTICE
Due to an NHS directive, from the 19th July we are still implementing the facemask and social distancing rules in the Pharmacy. This is the same for all pharmacies and GPS. We thank everyone for their patience with us over the last year ❤

**Just for information**
It has been brought to our attention that Google is saying we shut at 12pm on Wednesdays, this is not the case, we still shut at 1pm as usual.
We have tried to change it on Google but it is saying it is under review hasn't changed yet.

As of the 1st April 2019 the NHS prescription charge will rise to £9.00 per item.
The cost of a Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) will stay the same at £29.10 for 3 months and £104.00 for the year.

Due to a water leak at Defoe Parade we do not have access to the Internet which means at present we are unable to receive electronic prescriptions. We can however process green prescriptions and tokens.
We are also unable to accept card payment as this relies on the internet.
Engineers are currently working on the issue and we are hoping it resolves soon.
