I am a fully qualified and insured NAVP Veterinary Physiotherapist, based in Essex, Physiotehrapy is mainly used for horses, dogs and cats, but can benefit a wide variety of animals! I use soft tissue massage and mobilisation, stretching, myofascial release, kinesio taping, remedial exercise, and electrotherapy to optimise healing following injury or surgery, and address areas of muscular imbalance, pain, tension, restricted range of motion, and abnormal functional movement patterns. Physiotherapy can also be hugely beneficial in managing ongoing conditions, such as osteoarthrtis. For competitive animals, physiotherapy can also improve athletic performance and reduce injury risk. I am also a member of the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). RAMP has been created to give owners and referring veterinarians peace of mind that the practitioner is fully qualified and insured, only works within the their scope of practice, and demonstrates a professional level of education and clinical experience. http://www.rampregister.org/
