⭐ Member Spotlight ⭐

Let me introduce you to Kay. Kay is a member of our Beechdale Group and is the latest member to achieve her target weight. She joined us in January this year and as lost an amazing 3 stone 4lb. She is now a member of the Slim For Life plan and we are so proud of what she has achieved since joining Slimming World & is an inspiration to the group. Here is what she said about her journey.

“Hi my name is Kay I joined slimming world early January this year i walking into the unknown on how I was going to feeling not knowing anyone other then my partner who was also joining.

Karlton welcomed me and sat me down and went throw everything I needed to know he didn’t rush and made sure I was ok with everything he has said.

I joined slimming world because I was starting to become unhappy within myself with how much weight I was gaining, wasn’t happy with what I saw looking back at me in the mirror and I knew enough was enough and something needed to change.

I’ve loved doing slimming world because you can still have what you want and still enjoy eating the foods I love.

The group is the best group, which I think is a key role in my journey because everyone supports everyone even when you think you haven’t done good that week.

I joined the gym to start toning my body has I started losing a lot of weight.
I love the gym I put in my air pods and block out the world 🌎 it makes me feel amazing.

I’m not saying my journey has been plain sailing I’ve had some bumps in the road but like what karlton says you can’t change the past and tomorrow is a new day and everyone has bad days but all you’ve got to do is get straight back on it”

Hi, I’m Karlton and I absolutely love being a Slimming World Consultant 💖!

Being able to make a difference to people right here at Beechdale & Great Barr is so special. At our groups we learn healthy habits, support one another, chat about delicious food... and have loads of fun, obvs 😉.

Back at the start of October we did a spotlight on our member Sam. At that point she had lost an amazing 3.5 stone since joining us at group. Last night she lost another 2lb and achieved her ultimate target weight. What a Christmas present for herself ❤️ we are all proud of you Sam, enjoy being a target member and being a part of our Slim for Life programme. You are a inspiration ❤️

Since joining us in April she is now 3.5 stone lighter, bringing her total weight loss to 5.5 stone since December 2024.

What a night our Beechdale members have had. Just look at the awards that was given out including another 2 members achieving Target. From 1/2lb up to 4 stone!! One new member who rejoined us last week came in with a 11lb weight loss in her first week! 58.5lb just over 4 stone was lost in total ❤️
