When you step through The Granary Spa door will receive a personal & unique experience which allows you to escape from the outside world, pause your everyday stresses and feel totally relaxed. Tucked away near rural Great Chart and forming part of the Godinton House Estate, The Granary Spa has been created to offer our clients a five star service with a holistic approach in a converted Victorian granary. Only a 5 minute drive from either Matalan roundabout or the A20, you will encounter a sense of complete relaxation when you arrive. With just the birds singing and sheep grazing nearby you can escape to the countryside and savour the tranquil setting. Our treatment rooms are equipped to create a relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy your treatment time with us. The intention with “Upstairs at the Granary” is to allow you some “you time” either before or after your treatments, there’s plenty of space for you to relax. Help yourself to complimentary refreshments and just unwind! We have never been able to take advantage of those all too infrequent, but so precious, hot, sunny days. Now, we are able to offer our clients outdoor seating in the sheltered courtyard area behind the Granary. And to complete the stress-free experience we have ample free parking!

🎄Our Magical Work Christmas Celebration... This year’s Christmas do was truly special. We began with a festive trip to Rachel at The Foraged Flower, just 5 minutes from the spa. Her workshop was beautiful, full of charm, creativity, and instant Christmas spirit. Rachel and her lovely team welcomed us with drinks, mince pies, and the most delicious salted caramel brownies.

✨️Rachel then guided us through the wreath making process, and it was such a joy to see everyone get creative. Each wreath looked incredible and so different, reflecting all our personalities. If you’ve ever thought about trying a workshop, we’d highly recommend it. Rachel also runs seasonal workshops throughout the year, and you can find her on Instagram at .

🍴After working up an appetite, we headed to The Swan and Dog for a delicious 3 course meal, Secret Santa gifts, and a relaxed, festive evening together.

🫶A huge thank you to Cerys, with help from Katie, for organising such a wonderful day. All the little touches made it even more special.

❤️Overall, it was a memorable day filled with some down time, creativity, and festive joy, another beautiful chapter at The Granary Spa.

⭐️ 5 STARS FOR EMILY... This really was an amazing massage. I had a lovely relaxing camomile tea on arrival at the spa. Emily come to find me to introduce herself and then we went to the treatment room. Emily spoke through the session and asked for any specific areas to focus on. Emily then offered several additional options to enhance the massage.

The massage itself was exactly what I needed, and the areas I had highlighted for focus Emily worked on.

The room and massage were really calming, and I was very comfortable. At the end, they poured a glass of water for my post massage. Emily then spoke through specific recommendations and also suggested treatments that could help with the tension on my shoulders.

Emily provided an excellent massage and tailored it to the specific needs I had voiced at the beginning.

They then offered me a delicious coffee at the end of the session before leaving the spa. I would highly recommend the Granary Spa and Emily for delivering high-quality massage treatments. Thank you :)

❤️⚽️ Supporting the next generation of women’s football… I’m thrilled to share something really special with you all. Over the past few months, I’ve been saving up some pennies to sponsor my daughter’s football team and provide them with brand new kits for training and matches. Football has become a real passion of hers, and watching her, along with the whole team, grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork has been incredible.

It hasn’t been easy financially for many, especially as a small business, but giving back to the community and supporting the girls in something they love felt really important. So being able to say we’ve done it is something I’m incredibly proud of.

The girls now have warm, high quality kits to get them through those windy, muddy winter matches, and seeing how far they’ve come as a team has made every bit of effort worth it. They’re currently doing amazingly in their league, and I couldn’t be prouder of each one of them.

A big thank you!
A huge thank you also to one of the dad's on the team, who has generously sponsored the girl’s away kit. Many grass roots teams struggle to find even one sponsor, so for these girls to have two businesses supporting them is something really special.

And of course, thank you to the girl’s brilliant coaches, who give their time, energy, and passion every week. The progress the team has made is a credit to their dedication.

Sponsoring the team feels like so much more than a business decision, it’s an investment in their future and in the growth of women’s football.
