Monday 22nd December - classes running as normal (9:15-10:15am Slow Flow & Stretch, 5:45-6:15pm Yoga CORE, 6:20-7:20pm Hatha Yoga)

Wednesday 24th December - Yule-tide Yin, 10-11:30am, £20. Join Clare for 75 mins of restorative Yin, followed by mulled wine & mince pies!

Sunday 28th December - Hatha-ish Betwixmas class, 10-11am, £12

Monday 29th December - Hatha-ish Betwixmas class, 10-11am, £12

Friday 2nd January - Friday Flow 9:15-10:15am

Monday 5th January - Classes back to normal…..but I will be away 11-18th January heading to the French Alps for some skiing…..!!

Thursday 22nd January & Saturday 7th February - Day Yoga Retreat, 9:30am - 2:30pm, £65
Let Clare guide you through a restorative retreat day - A real chance to rebalance, restore and rest your mind, body and soul.
The day will include Yin yoga, guided meditation, a delicious lunch & snacks, create-your-own body oil and some mindful sacred geometry.

Weak winter sun seeps

Escaped to the sea for my run this morning (actually it was a run-walk down a steep slippery slope-sit by the sea and look at the waves-walk back up the steep slope-run…!). There is nothing like sitting by the sea and watching the waves that brings me a deeper sense of calm (apart from maybe mountains).

Wrote a Haiku (above) to try and encapsulate the moment.

Meditation doesn’t always have to be sitting in silence, it can be completely absorbing yourself in the moment ❤️🌊

A good selection of props for a private client this morning. The focus: Just Breathing!

If you struggle with activating your deep core muscles, start with the basics: breathing.

1. Work out when you’re breathing in and when you’re breathing out (load more I could add here, but for now I will leave it as just this!).

2. Practice the movement flow first, without the breath to get it into your muscle memory.

3. Add the breath in - to connect with the deep core you need to exhale on the effort/load lift/load increase.

I’m working on a Breath Basics module on the JBY app at the moment - watch this space!
