Be Strong Eat. Move. Live This isn’t just about changing your body, its about changing your life. We want you to Be Strong. And with strength comes wellbeing both physically and mentally.

The best part is we do this together as a community which will help and motivate you to create sensible eating choices via NHS advice on healthy
eating, and we will help you to start moving with exercise that you can do. Find your strong. Be Strong founders Rick Wilson and Rachel Wilcock have followed sensible eating plans and adopted lifestyle changes to make significant long term improvements to their overall health and appearance. Rick is now 10st lighter than at his heaviest and has a strong track record of successfully motivating others to achieve similar results. Rachel doesn't like the term 'diet' but is a firm believer that we need to change the way we think about food and activity to achieve long term success. Be Strong will:

1. Promote safe and sustainable weight loss
2. Help you learn to make healthier food and lifestyle choices
3. Provide mutual aid and support from our group
4. Supply you with weekly progress charts
5. Deliver an NHS approved "couch to core fitness" exercise plan
6. Develop skills to prevent weight regain

You will be participating in a 30 minute ALL INCLUSIVE exercise session led by Rick – please wear trainers, suitable clothing and bring a water bottle and hand towel. This exercise session is performed on the spot where you stand, is suitable for every level of fitness, including people who are currently completely INACTIVE, and carries the NHS seal of approval.

If you want to feel part of something, meet new people, and surprise yourself with what you can achieve, our 8-week Couch to 5K is the perfect place to start. And it’s completely free.

🌟 No Skill Wins 🌟

The best career advice I ever got came from an ex boss.

He said: “You don’t have to be the best at your job to be the best employee — you just need to follow the no skill wins rule.”

Simple things that don’t take any talent, just consistency and pride.

I built my whole career around this advice, and it’s never failed me:

Always be the first to arrive.

Speak well of people — especially when they’re not around.

Keep yourself smart and tidy.

Be consistent— same attitude, same effort, every day.

Do what’s asked, do it well, and do it on time.

Own your mistakes.

Be reliable — if you say you’ll do it, do it.

Show gratitude and positivity — for your team, your boss, and the job you’ve got.

Stay curious — always be open to learning and feedback.

Help colleagues — good teams lift each other up.

Embrace change with a smile — things move fast, and you won’t stop it.

None of these take skill — but together, they’ll earn you trust, respect, and a reputation that lasts.

Every Tuesday at St Paul's R C Primary School, Preston Old Road, Feniscowles, Blackburn, BB2 5EP. Sessions Start at 6pm and 7:30pm Every Wednesday at St. Christopher's CE School, Queen's Road West, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 4AY. Session Starts at 6pm
